IWB has finally felt riding Astra Honda Motor's latest motorcycle, the New CB 150 X Adventure for long-distance touring. The motorcycle that we actually tested in the Honda Training Center but it feels unsatisfied if we don't use it on the highway in real-time. And it didn't take long for us to feel this motorcycle touring up to 89 km exploring the city of Bandung. And fix after trying this motorcycle for touring, there are pluses and minuses that IWB found. What is it and why do we call Honda the king of heart? During the Honda CB150R Adventure Bandung Touring yesterday we were presented with a very complete route. Starting from a solid path crawling smooth asphalt, steep climbs, and extreme descents including weather that was indeed excruciating because we have to penetrate the thick heavy rain that flushed Bandung including Tangkuban Perahu. Not only rainwater but also very thick fog blocking the view including cold temperatures became a powerful simulation to feel the toughness of the Honda New CB 150 X Adventure. It was so cold that IWB's hand was hard to hold the disk...sick pack, so cold!



The potential CB150X Adventure, the route itself starts from DAM SRC ... which then continues to Warlos .... buzz continues to Maribaya .... ride again to Tangkuban Perahu, and finishes at Bili Rach. This track is very complete because each route provides a kind of picture of how when the motorcycle is used for long-distance touring. Steep climbs, broken roads, smooth asphalt, traffic jams, and many descents. This tour took about 4 hours with a distance of 89 km. But because of the weather, it felt like we traveled 250 km. "Njedindil" disk. Now don't beat around the bush, here are IWB's riding impressions after riding the Honda CB 150 Adventure after using it for more than 4 hours.

We guess for the riding position this bike is one of the best bikes in IWB's eyes. In the 150cc class, the Honda CB150X Adventure is able to provide maximum comfort because IWB did not find excessive pressure on all areas of the body, whether elbows, necks, or thighs. Everything feels relaxed and comfortable, especially since we can see the surrounding conditions with confidence because of the wide visibility. Yup.... maximum visibility thanks to the high riding position. The handlebar length is also just right according to IWB... not too wide left and right and not too short. Including the height of the Tapper which seems to have been calculated by Honda, Original comfortable riding position.

Yup... it was proven that during touring with a distance of nearly 100 kilometers and took 4 hours with very varied road conditions ranging from damaged, smooth, and congested.... we did not feel tired at all. This bike is a winner when it comes to this. I felt comfortable because I didn't have any body aches. So when it comes to riding ergonomics, IWB gives the CB150X Adventure the highest score.

Motorcycle has emphasized that the engine grafted on the new Honda CB150X Adventure is the same engine as the other 150cc sport variants. But there are differences in the ECU so the engine character is different. The cheapest 32 million adventure bike focuses on low and mid torque. And it turns out that this character is very helpful when we go up and down the mountain.



Yup.... engine never seems to lose power. No matter how extreme the climb, the power continues to fill up. This is the reason Honda chose near-square construction. Even IWB tried to climb Extreme using gear 3 at low speed, it turns out that this motorcycle engine still wants to struggle. The explosion is still felt without us finding a drop at all. This bike is just like a semi-trail ride. IWB did not expect such a comfortable machine for going up and down the mountain. Another positive position is the engine vibration. Honda was able to manage the vibrations very well on the CB150x Adventure generation. Engine vibration on the handlebar, footstep, and tank is smooth.

And because of the short breath, the smoothness starts to fade when the RPM touches above 9,000. Well, it's still within the tolerance limit, so no need to worry. The good thing is that because we rarely use high RPMs on normal roads, this motorcycle package is still very comfortable. This means that the bike is powerful from bottom to the middle but don't choose this bike if you are looking for top speed. Because in accordance with the development concept, the Honda New CB 150X Adventure is a daily bike to provide comfort so the mapping focuses on the lower and middle torque. And this is evident because the low to middle power is very dense, once you poke it, there is less effort but the power starts to empty when you enter high RPM, that's the character.....plus minus the disc.



The Honda New CB150X Adventure is the Master of climbing ability. The king of climbing has a similar character to a trail machine but with a higher top speed. IWB can confirm that and let you try it out. You won't regret owning this bike if your house is located in the mountains because the power seems endless. Even if you want to go up a severe extreme climb, it will be cleared. Each gear when shifting the power feels connected. The only drawback is that the breath tends to be short because it focuses on torque. But other than that, it's great.
